Ethanol prices up strongly for second week in a row

Avg_national_ethanol_rack         Ethanol rack prices rebounded strongly last week from nearly two months of steady declines, with traders citing tighter supplies and the mix of geopolitical and seasonal issues impacting crude oil.
Prices increased by a whopping 6 to 9 cents per gallon, to about $1.69 a gallon, in Midwest points of origin, but the boost was somewhat absorbed in transit as ethanol moved out toward anterior markets.
West Coast prices were assessed at $1.73 to $1.75, about 3 to 4 cents per gallon higher, while prices on the East Coast moved up 2 to 3 cents to about the same level.
